When i first heard the story of the missing NFL players who had taken a boat out on the ocean to go fishing, I wasn't very curious. First off, NFL players are highly paid, so if they went out on a boat, I presumed it would be a yacht, possible a huge motorboat with a cabin. At the least, I expected to it would be a seaworthy vehicle.
My curiosity was peaked tremendously when news came that one person was found, "clinging" to the boat. When I first saw the photo, the person appeared to just be sitting on the boat awaiting rescue. That seemed suspicious to me. My gut feeling is that there is something deeper going on here.
Sorry folks, but a 21 foot boat is the just five feet longer than a Cadillac Escalade. That is not a big boat. So why would four men go fishing in the ocean in a boat that most of us wouldn't take to the middle of Lake Michigan?
Plus check out this video of the grieving widow.
I pray this story turns out to be a real accident and not murder.

Unfortunately, this reminds me of 1) the Lawndale kids who went out in a boat, on a winter night, at a Wisconsin retreat and 2) Brian Williams (Bison Dele) and his brother disappearing in Fiji(?). :(
Adventure driven Men enjoy the challenge. However safety should never be compromised. I've been in a 15 ft dingy with 4 friends and we had a blast.
We all wore life vests and knew the emergency procedure if anything went wrong.
No drinking was allowed nor any sort of drug use, except motion sickness medication.
Foolishness can lead to fatalities.
